Perth Overnight

Join us on an overnight getaway to the beautiful towns of Perth and Westport in Lanark County, Ontario.

Perth was voted one of Ontario’s prettiest towns! It’s a picturesque community nestled along the Tay River in Eastern Ontario. As one of the region’s oldest settlements, the town still proudly reflects its roots from its Scottish settlers. You can see its heritage in the stone buildings, charming bridges and inviting pubs that give Perth its timeless character. Your adventure begins in Perth with a step-on guide and an included lunch, followed by a guided tour of the Perth Museum. Afterward, check into your hotel and enjoy the evening and dinner on your own as you explore the historic charm of the town. The next morning, we will travel from Perth to the lovely town of Westport. We start off our day with a visit to Foley Mountain Conservation Area where the Spy Rock lookout offers spectacular views. You will have free time to browse the shops and cafes in Westport before enjoying an included lunch and wine tasting at River House Winery. Our final stop will be Kilborn’s Department Store, a favourite for unique finds.

Day 1: Perth Museum & Downtown Evening (L)

Our adventure begins in Perth, where you will meet a local step on guide and enjoy an included lunch. Afterward, take in a guided tour of the Perth Museum to learn about the town’s rich history and heritage. Later in the afternoon, check into your hotel and settle in. The rest of the evening is yours to explore the charming downtown area, visit local shops, or enjoy dinner on your own at one of Perth’s welcoming restaurants.

Day 2: Westport, Foley Mountain Lookout & Winery (B, L)

Start the day with a short drive from Perth to the scenic village of Westport. Our morning begins with a visit to Foley Mountain Conservation Area, where the Spy Rock lookout offers spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. After enjoying the scenery, you will have free time in Westport to browse the unique shops and cafes. We then continue to River House Winery for an included lunch and guided wine tasting in a beautiful lakeside setting. Before heading home, we will stop at Kilborn’s Department Store, a favourite destination for unique gifts and specialty items.

A deposit of $100.00 is due at the time of booking. Final payment will be due 45 days prior to departure. All payments are non- refundable if you cancel on your own terms.
