Itinerary

Day 1 – October 25, 2025 | Depart for Madrid, Spain

Board our motor coach today at one of our pre-set pickup locations and head to Toronto Pearson airport where we’ll board our overnight flight to Madrid, Spain.

Day 2 – October 26, 2025 | Madrid, Spain (D)

Welcome to Madrid, Spain’s capital which was a fortified enclave during the Andalusi period. Upon arrival, we’ll head to our hotel and you’ll have free time to experience this vibrant city. This evening we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner with new friends before our big journey.

Day 3 – October 27, 2025 | Madrid, Spain (B)

After breakfast this morning, we’ll enjoy a guided tour with a local expert showcasing Madrid’s iconic spots like Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol. Explore its medieval streets and the 14th-century Alcazar Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with Christian and Muslim influences. Spend the rest of the day as you like, or join an optional tour to Segovia.

Day 4 – October 28, 2025 | Madrid – Córdoba – Granada (B)

Today we’ll travel on the high-speed train to Córdoba, a city renowned for its mix of Christian, Muslim, and Jewish heritage. Tour La Mezquita, an 8th-century mosque turned cathedral in the 16th century. Then head to Granada, Spain’s last Moorish capital before its fall in 1492.

Day 5 – October 29, 2025 | Granada (B, D)

Explore the world-famous Alhambra with a local expert. The Alhambra Palace features intricate gardens, fountains, and sophisticated stonework. If time allows, visit the Generalife’s exotic water gardens and enjoy the views of Granada. With a free afternoon, immerse yourself in local culture before sampling Spanish cuisine with a tapas dinner this evening.

Day 6 – October 30, 2025 | Granada – Seville (B, L)

Continue exploring local culture with a visit to an award-winning olive grove. Enjoy their unique olive oil at lunch before heading to Seville – Spain’s “cultural capital.” Tonight, experience a flamenco show featuring a passionate dance with mysterious roots.

Day 7 – October 31, 2025 | Seville (B, D)

Join a local tour guide and visit iconic sites like the Giralda Bell Tower, Plaza de España, and the Seville Cathedral. Wander through the charming Barrio Santa Cruz with its quaint courtyards and whitewashed buildings. Enjoy the afternoon on your own before dinner!

Day 8 – November 1, 2025 | Seville – Tangier, Morocco (B, D)

Board a high-speed ferry and cross the Strait of Gibraltar to Tangier, Morocco. Explore Tangier’s old medina and kasbah with a local guide. Visit the American Legation, the only U.S. National Historic Landmark abroad, symbolizing diplomatic ties dating back to the 1800s.

Day 9 – November 2, 2025 | Tangier – Asilah – Tangier (B)

Enjoy a leisurely morning exploring Tangier—stroll the oceanfront, visit the marina, or shop in the medina. In the afternoon, discover Asilah, a seaside city with a bohemian art scene and a history of conquerors and pirates.

Day 10 – November 3, 2025 | Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fes (B)

Travel from Tangier to Chefchaouen, Morocco’s “Blue City,” known for its scenic mountains and indigo-painted streets. Explore at your own pace, enjoy lunch, and browse local shops. In the evening, arrive in Fes, the “Mecca of the West” and religious capital of the region.

Day 11 – November 4, 2025 | Fes (B, D)

Explore Fes, one of the world’s holiest cities, and learn about its historical role in government, philosophy, medicine, and religion. Tour the Jewish quarter, city ramparts, and palace gates. Walk through the 9th-century medina, home to the world’s oldest university, and browse its ancient market for spices and wares. Discover the 11th-century leather tanneries and their colorful vats. Tonight, enjoy a Moroccan dinner at a traditional riad.

Day 12 – November 5, 2025 | Fes – Bin El Oudaine (B, D)

Prepare yourself for a long bus ride, and know it’s worth it when you reach the awe-inspiring Middle Atlas Mountains, which are a jewel in Morocco’s crown – take in their majesty on today’s journey to the small, rural hamlet of Bin El Oudaine.

Day 13 – November 6, 2025 | Bin El Oudaine (B, D)

Explore Bin El Ouidane and enjoy the picturesque landscapes of the area. Today, it’s your choice! Explore the breathtaking rural lake landscape in a boat -OR- visit the UNESCO M’Goun Geopark Museum, which showcases the geopark’s natural, cultural, and landscape treasures. Enjoy a calm and relaxing afternoon on your own before an included group dinner.

Day 14 – November 7, 2025 | Bin El Oudaine – Marrakech (B, D)

Travel to Marrakech, an imperial city full of ancient artistry and religious history. Stroll the Jardin Majorelle, one of the most stunning botanical gardens in Morocco. This evening, wander through a maze of colours and fragrances in Jemaa el-Fnaa – one of Morocco’s famous squares – before sitting down for dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 15 – November 8, 2025 | Marrakech (B)

Start your morning at El Bahia Palace, with its marble floors and carved cedar ceilings. Then, explore Marrakesh’s medina with a local expert, discovering spices, rose petals, babouches, and Berber rugs. Learn why this famous souk has been the centerpiece of many novels. The rest of the day is yours to explore Marrakech at your own pace or join a Moroccan cooking demonstration.

Day 16 – November 9, 2025 | Marrakech – Casablanca (B, D)

Today, head to Casablanca, where modern Morocco shines. Visit the stunning Hassan II Mosque, then step into the iconic Rick’s Café made famous by the classic film Casablanca. Toast your adventure with a farewell dinner.

Day 17 – November 10, 2025 | Depart for Home (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before checking out and boarding our motorcoach for transportation to the airport, where you’ll meet your return flight home. On arrival, our coach will await to return us to our original pickup points concluding your unforgettable journey.

Please note that this is a very active tour. We suggest you are able to: Walk 4-5 km over the course of a day with no problem, partake in a two-hour leisurely walking tour (covering up to 3km), handle a variety of terrains, from gravel trails to moderate hills without assistance and climb two flights of stairs with ease. This tour is not suitable for those with mobility constraints. Seat selection on flights is not available.
