Christmas at Glanmore Historic Site

Commence your Christmas season with us today by travelling east to visit the Stirling Festival of Trees.

Heritage Village, a century-old streetscape with a cobblestone road, has been transformed into a magical Christmas Wonderland with dozens of  beautifully decorated Christmas trees. You’ll also have time to visit the Lion’s Club Craft Show and maybe pick up a unique Christmas gift. After your busy morning you’ll be ready for an included roast beef lunch at Chubby’s, well renowned for their good wholesome country cooking.  We then spend our afternoon at Glanmore National Historic Site in Belleville experiencing Christmas of Yesteryear. This resplendent Victorian mansion, built in 1883, serves as both a historic house and community museum. It’s grand interior featuring beautiful hand-painted ceilings, ornate woodwork, and historical artifacts has been decorated with Christmas trees, ribbons and garlands, and antique toys. What a great way to start the festive season by visiting Christmas in the 1890s.
