Our journey begins with a guided tour of Kingston Penitentiary, where you’ll uncover fascinating tales from one of Canada’s most notorious prisons. Visit the Bellevue House Historic Site, the former home of Sir John A. Macdonald, where you can explore beautifully restored rooms and scenic gardens. After checking in at the Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront, we’ll enjoy a spectacular evening at the Kingston 1000 Islands Dinner Show, “The Crooners – From Sinatra to Bublé”, featuring timeless hits from legendary performers. We will also step back into the 19th century with a guided tour of Fort Henry, an impressive military fortress offering stunning views of the St. Lawrence River. With a perfect blend of history, entertainment, and scenic charm, this Kingston experience is one you don’t want to miss!

Please note there are several walking tours with some stairs on this tour so it is not recommended for those with mobility constraints.

Day 1 – Kingston Penitentiary & Evening Entertainment (L, D)

The journey begins with a visit to Kingston Penitentiary, where a guided tour offers an in-depth look at one of Canada’s most historic and infamous prisons. After exploring the penitentiary’s fascinating past, enjoy an included lunch at Mandarin Restaurant, featuring a variety of delicious options. The afternoon continues with a tour of Bellevue House Historic Site, the former home of Sir John A. Macdonald. Wander through the beautifully restored rooms and scenic gardens, gaining insight into the life of Canada’s first Prime Minister. Upon arrival at the Holiday Inn Kingston Waterfront, take some time to relax and unwind before an exciting evening ahead. The day concludes with a Kingston 1000 Islands Dinner Show, “Crooners – Sinatra to Bublé,” where you’ll be treated to a delightful dining experience accompanied by timeless hits from legendary performers.

Day 2 – Fort Henry & Final Stops (B, L)

Begin the day with a hearty breakfast before heading to Fort Henry for a guided tour. This National Historic Site offers a glimpse into 19th-century military life, complete with breathtaking views of the St. Lawrence River. Learn about the fort’s strategic significance and its role in protecting Upper Canada. Following the tour, enjoy an included lunch before beginning the journey home. From there you will be dropped off to your designated pickup locations as we bid you farewell.
