Christmas In Montebello

Embark on a Canadian scenic, Christmas getaway filled with history, nature, and indulgence in Montebello, Quebec! 

Our adventure begins with a delicious meal at Tucker’s Marketplace in Ottawa. Afterwards, we will then arrive at the magnificent Fairmont Le Château Montebello, the world’s largest log cabin, for a luxurious 3-night stay with rustic charm. Day two brings us to Parc Omega, where we’ll enjoy a 2.5-hour guided safari tour, getting up close with Canada’s incredible wildlife. After lunch at the park, we’ll explore Montebello’s charming village, filled with quaint shops, brewhouses and more. Enjoy a free day to relax and experience the stunning amenities of the Château Montebello, a historical tour of the Chateau and more! We’ll also stop at the St-Albert Cheese Co-op for a tour and lunch, where you can savor delicious, locally made cheeses before returning home. Join us for a perfect mix of relaxation, exploration, and culinary delights!

Day 1: Depart for Ottawa & Château Montebello (L)

Our journey begins with a stop in Ottawa, where you’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at Tucker’s Marketplace. Then, we’ll head to the breathtaking Fairmont Le Château Montebello, the world’s largest log cabin, where you’ll check in and settle into luxury for 3 nights. Spend the evening unwinding at the resort or exploring the surrounding landscapes.

Day 2: Parc Omega & Montebello Village (B, L)

Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before heading to Parc Omega, where we’ll embark on a 2.5-hour guided safari tour through Canada’s wilderness. Get up close with native wildlife, including deer, bison, wolves, and more, in this immersive nature experience. After the tour, enjoy an included lunch at the park before returning to Montebello. The afternoon is yours to explore the quaint village of Montebello, where you can browse charming shops, indulge in handmade chocolates, or visit the local brewhouse for a tasting. The rest of the evening is at your leisure to enjoy the amenities of Château Montebello and grab dinner on your own.

Day 3: Free Day & Historical Tour of the Chateau (B, D)

Enjoy a relaxing free day to experience all that Château Montebello has to offer. Before indulging in the many amenities at your disposal, you’ll experience the Historical Tour of the Chateau to learn more about the beautiful estate you’ve been staying at. In the evening, we’ll come together for a special included dinner at the hotel, the perfect way to cap off a tranquil day in this stunning retreat.

Day 4: St-Albert Cheese Co-op & Journey Home (B, L)

After breakfast, we say farewell to Montebello and begin our journey home, but not before making a stop at St-Albert Cheese Co-op. Here, we’ll enjoy a guided tour of the famous cheese factory and an included lunch, giving you the chance to savor some of the region’s best cheese products. From there, we’ll continue our trip home, dropping you off at your designated pickup locations as we bid you farewell.
