Explore the best of the Mediterranean onboard the NCL Prima on this 16-day spring getaway.

The Mediterranean region is packed full of rich history and stunning natural wonders. Highlights include exploring the ancient Roman baths in Civitavecchia, the historic gateway to Rome. Seeing breathtaking views and wandering through the history-filled, medieval streets of Kotor, Montenegro. Strolling the boardwalk in Nice. Walking in the footsteps of emperors through Diocletian’s Palace and sipping local wine as the sun sets over the Riva promenade in Split, Croatia. All meals are included onboard the ship. This tour includes two pre-cruise nights in Barcelona and two-post cruise nights in Venice along with the services of a Cardinal Lakeshore Tour Director and so much more!

Day 1 | May 4, 2027 – Depart Home

Meet our coach at your pre-selected pickup to be transferred to Toronto Pearson Airport. Here we will board our overnight flight to Barcelona, Spain!

Day 2 | May 5, 2027 – Barcelona (D)

This morning we will arrive in Barcelona! We’ll transfer to our hotel and have a free afternoon before an included dinner this evening.

Day 3 | May 6, 2027 – Barcelona (B, L)

In the morning, meet your guide and board a private vehicle to explore the city. Drive up Montjuïc Mountain for panoramic views and take a walking tour through the medieval Old Town, discovering historic landmarks and stories in the Gothic Quarter. Enjoy a light tapas lunch, then visit two of Gaudí’s masterpieces: La Sagrada Familia and Park Güell this afternoon. Return to the hotel for a free evening.

Day 4 | May 7, 2027 – Barcelona/Embarkation (B, L, D)

Good morning! We’ll have some free time before checking out of our hotel and transferring to our cruise ship. We’ll be setting sail this evening on the NCL Prima where we will spend the next 10 nights. All meals are included on board.

Day 5 | May 8, 2027 – Nice/Monaco (Villefranche), France (B, L, D)

Discover the charm of the French Riviera. Stroll the Old Harbour for stunning Mediterranean views, visit Saint Michael’s Church with its 18th-century organ, or relax on local beaches. Hike to the 16th-century Fort Du Mont Alban, explore the underground Rue Obscure, or visit the prehistoric Grotte du Lazaret.

Day 6 | May 9, 2027 – Florence/Pisa (Livorno), Italy (B, L, D)

Visit the Tuscan region, Florence & Pisa, resplendent in art and history. What’s even more fortunate is that all the main attractions in Florence are centrally located for the perfect walking tour. See Santa Croce, Piazza del Duomo and Michelangelo’s David.

Day 7 | May 10, 2027 – Rome (Civitavecchia), Italy (B, L, D)

Rome offers endless adventures with 2,500 years of history, art, and culture. Admire Vatican masterpieces, explore ancient relics and monuments, or simply relax in a charming café and watch life unfold!

Day 8 | May 11, 2027 – Salerno, Italy (B, L, D)

Salerno’s rich history spans many ancient settlements and empires. It offers sun-soaked beaches, nature reserves, historic sites, and delicious local cuisine.

Day 9 | May 12, 2027 – Messina (Sicily), Italy (B, L, D)

Messina, Sicily’s third-largest city, greets visitors with its beautiful harbor, resilient architecture, and delicious food. Stroll Piazza Cairoli to admire fountains and cathedrals, or relax with Marsala wine at a café.

Day 10 | May 13, 2027 – Corfu, Greece (B, L, D)

Corfu, one of the lushest Greek Isles, boasts dramatic blue waters and peaceful hillside villages. Its charming cafes offer a continental vibe, while secluded coves and sandy beaches capture the essence of the Greek Isles.

Day 11 | May 14, 2027 – Kotor, Montenegro (B, L, D)

Famed for its 9th-century Venetian walls and mountainous backdrop, you can’t help but be charmed by the cobbled streets lined with cafes, shops, & historic buildings.

Day 12 | May 15, 2027 – Dubrovnik, Croatia (B, L, D)

Dubrovnik, known as the “pearl of the Adriatic”, is a welcoming city surrounded by 13th-century walls. Its romantic charm shines through marble streets, historic buildings with orange roofs, and stunning beaches nestled between rocky cliffs.

Day 13 | May 16, 2027 – Split, Croatia (B, L, D)

This coastal Adriatic city boasts a rich history dating back to Diocletian’s Palace. Explore the majestic cathedral, marble streets, and beautiful cafe lined promenades.

Day 14 | May 17, 2027 – Venice, Italy/Disembarkation (B, D)

This morning we will disembark in Venice where our coach will be waiting to transfer us to our water taxi to our centrally located Venice hotel for the next two nights. Enjoy a leisurely afternoon before an included group dinner this evening.

Day 15 | May 18, 2027 – Venice, Italy (B, D)

Enjoy a morning walking tour with a local guide, exploring Venice’s famous landmarks like St. Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace, and the Bridge of Sighs. Then, relax on a Venetian gondola ride along the Grand Canal. After some free time for shopping, end the day with a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 16 | May 19, 2027 – Venice to Home (B)

After breakfast this morning we will transfer to the airport where we’ll board our flight home to Toronto. Our motor coach will await in Toronto to return you to your original pickup locations and we will bid new and old friends farewell!
