Itinerary

Day 1 | Toronto to Paris

Meet our coach at one of our predetermined pickup locations today to be transferred to Toronto Pearson Airport. From here, we will board our overnight flight.

Day 2 | Paris (D)

Our flight will arrive in Paris this morning where your journey begins. Welcome to France and the City of Light. Board your 5-star Scenic Space-Ship this afternoon and get ready for a spectacular journey ahead!

Day 3 | Les Andelys (B, L, D)

Cruise along the Seine to the charming Norman village of Les Andelys, home to historic buildings, limestone cliffs, and the imposing ruins of Château Gaillard, King Richard the Lionheart’s castle. Scenic Freechoice: Choose from a guided hike to Château Gaillard, a tour of Les Andelys, a visit to a local cider farm, or an exploration of the Renaissance-era Château Gaillon.

Day 4 | Rouen (B, L, D)

Explore Rouen, Normandy’s historic capital, with restored medieval streets, halftimbered houses, and the famed Rouen Cathedral. Scenic Freechoice: Choose from a guided city tour, a Viking-themed exploration, or a walking tour following in the footsteps of Joan of Arc. Later in the day, enjoy an engaging onboard lecture exploring life as a WWI soldier on the Western Front.

Day 5 | Rouen (B, L, D)

Enjoy another full day in Rouen. Scenic Freechoice: Choose a full-day excursion to the Somme Battlefields, including Newfoundland Memorial Park and other significant WWI sites, or discover Rouen through the eyes of Claude Monet, visiting landmarks that inspired his famous paintings and the Musée des Beaux-Arts.

Day 6 | Honfleur (B, L, D)

Cruise west to colourful Honfleur, a picturesque port city known for its artistic heritage, charming harbour, cobbled streets, and half-timbered houses. Enjoy a guided walk through the Inner Harbour, Sainte-Catherine Church, and Garden of Personalities, followed by free time to explore.

Day 7 | Honfleur (B, L, D)

Spend another full day exploring Normandy’s important WWII history with convenient access from Honfleur. Scenic Freechoice: Choose from a full-day visit to the Normandy Beaches focused on American, British, or Canadian history, including key battlefields, memorials, museums, and cemeteries. Alternatively, explore the historic town of Bayeux, home to its magnificent cathedral and charming streets.

Day 8 | Honfleur > Caudebec-en-Caux (B, L, D)

Cruise inland along the Seine to Caudebec-en-Caux, a charming medieval town known for its riverfront, historic homes, gardens, and ornate 15th-century Notre Dame Church. Scenic Freechoice: Choose from an e-bike ride to Villequier and the Victor Hugo Museum, a visit to Fécamp and the Bénédictine Palace, a walking tour exploring the French Resistance, or a visit to Normandy’s historic Abbey Road.

Day 9 | Vernon > La Roche-Guyon (B, L, D)

Explore historic Vernon and nearby Giverny, where Claude Monet lived and created his famous gardens. Scenic Freechoice: Visit Monet’s House and Gardens or enjoy a self-guided bike ride from Vernon to Giverny. Later this evening, we will cruise to La Roche-Guyon for a special evening at the historic Château, featuring a classical concert put on by French composers.

Day 10 | Conflans > Paris (B, L, D)

Explore the medieval town of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine, with its charming streets, riverside paths, and historic church. Scenic Freechoice: Visit Auvers-sur-Oise, where Van Gogh created his final masterpieces; explore Château de Chantilly or Château de Malmaison; or take an active walk and visit the Inland Water Transport Museum. Later, cruise back to Paris.

Day 11 | Paris (B, L, D)

Enjoy a free afternoon to explore Paris at your leisure before spending one final night docked in the city. Scenic Freechoice: Choose a highlights tour featuring the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Champs-Élysées and Arc de Triomphe; explore the trendy Marais district; visit the magnificent Opera Garnier; or discover Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte and its spectacular gardens or explore Paris on your own today!

Day 12 | Paris to Toronto (B)

Depart after breakfast for your onward journey, taking your memories of beautiful France with you. Upon arrival in Toronto, our coach will await to return us to our original pickup locations!
