Day 1 – September 15, 2026 – Depart for Quebec City (L/D)
This morning, we meet our coach and tour director at one of our predetermined pick-up locations, as we begin our tour to Charlevoix, Saguenay, and surrounding areas! We’ll first stop at the renowned Sucrerie de la Montagne, where we will be treated to a tour and lunch. Open year round, Sucrerie de la Montagne sugar shack is a 120-acre maple grove recognized as a Quebec Heritage Site and located in a forest of century old maple trees. Once back on the coach we then make our way to Quebec City, where we check in to the Hotel Palace Royal to enjoy an included dinner and an overnight stay. The rest of the night is free for you to explore the surrounding areas at your leisure.
Day 2 – September 16, 2026 – Quebec City to Tadoussac (B/L/D)
Wake up to a warm included leisurely breakfast at your hotel before meeting mid-morning to take our coach to Baie-Sainte-Catherine. Here we will experience a once in a lifetime whale watching cruise! We will enjoy our cruise with a boxed lunch that can be enjoyed while onboard. Our cruise tour ends in Tadoussac, where we will be met by our coach and transferred only a short distance to our hotel, Hotel Tadoussac. This hotel offers the warm hospitality of a charming hotel nestled in the heart of nature. We then end our day with dinner at Hotel Tadoussac’s Coverdale Restaurant.
Day 3 – September 17, 2026 – Tadoussac & Saguenay (B/L)
Once you’ve started your day with a delicious breakfast, we journey from Tadoussac to Saguenay, crossing by ferry into a region of waterways and forested mountains. We will then experience a cruise along the amazing Saguenay Fjord, with its dramatic cliffs and beautiful waters that sit within a glacial valley. A boxed lunch will be enjoyed onboard. Back on land, we visit the Musée du Fjord, where engaging exhibits and displays bring the region’s natural wonders to life.
Day 4 – September 18, 2026 – Tadoussac to Charlevoix (B/D)
After breakfast in Tadoussac, we travel west to Charlevoix for a two-night stay at the magnificent Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu. Nestled between mountains, forest, and the St. Lawrence River, this French château-style resort combines historic elegance with modern luxury, offering fine dining, a spa, pools, golf, and more. Tonight, we enjoy a seasonal group dinner before exploring the resort’s many amenities and evening activities.
Day 5 – September 19, 2026 – Charlevoix (B/L)
Start the day off with a delicious breakfast at the hotel before we set out to explore Charlevoix. We begin with the Musée Maritime de Charlevoix, where historic boats, workshops, and exhibits bring the region’s maritime heritage to life. We then visit Papeterie Saint-Gilles to see artisans create handmade cotton paper, a centuries-old craft, with time to browse the boutique for unique works and souvenirs. The morning concludes with a 3-course lunch at Les Éboulements, featuring local favourites in a warm setting. The afternoon and evening are yours to enjoy the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu, with its world-class dining, pools, spa, golf course, and cozy lounges offering the perfect balance of relaxation and luxury.
Day 6 – September 20, 2026 – Charlevoix to Montreal (B)
Enjoy another included breakfast at the hotel this morning before we meet as a group mid morning and head west toward Montreal. Our first stop on tour today is Saint Anne De Beaupre Basilica. Paintings, mosaics, stained glass windows, stone and wooden sculptures reveal the extraordinary beauty and history of the Shrine, and the important role that it continues to play in the faith of the people. Surrounding the basilica, Côte-de-Beaupré reveals its rich landscapes alongside the St. Lawrence River. You will have the opportunity to explore the basilica on your own as well as the surrounding walkable areas before we return to the coach and continue to Montreal. Upon arrival into Montreal, we will check into the DoubleTree Hotel, which is centrally located within the city. The evening is yours to enjoy the city on your own, with most restaurants and popular attractions only minutes away.
Day 7 – September 21, 2026 – Montreal to Home (B)
Once breakfast at the hotel is finished, we begin our journey home with a final stop in Brockville. This charming riverside town offers trails, heritage sites, and cafés for lunch on your own, along with the unique Brockville Railway Tunnel. After time to explore, we reunite and continue along Highway 401, returning to our original pick-up points with memories of a wonderful tour.
A deposit of $250 is due at the time of booking. Final payment will be due by July 2, 2026 at the latest. Prices are subject to change. Please note that this is a very active tour. We suggest you can walk 5+ km over the course of a day with no problem, stand for long periods of time, can navigate a variety of terrains without assistance and climb two flights of stairs with ease.
