Day 1 | Toronto > Prague
Meet our coach at one of our predetermined pickup locations today to be transferred to Toronto Pearson Airport. From here, we will board our overnight flight to Prague.
Day 2 | Prague
Our flight will arrive this morning. Welcome to Prague, one of Europe’s best-preserved and most beautiful cities, with a rich and fascinating history stretching back more than 1,000 years. The Vltava River, the longest in the Czech Republic, runs through the center of Prague with the historic Old Town on one bank and New Town on the other. This afternoon we’ll check in to our hotel where we will spend the next three nights.
Day 3 | Prague (B)
This morning, enjoy a guided tour with an expert local guide, uncovering the Gothic charm of Prague’s red roofed Old Town. Explore its cobblestone lanes, medieval buildings, bustling squares, and the iconic 14th century Astronomical Clock at the Old Town Hall. The rest of the day is yours to explore this stunning city on the Vltava River, rich in history and architectural wonders.
Day 4 | Prague (B)
Spend your morning at leisure in Prague—perhaps take an early morning stroll along the Charles Bridge or relax at a café in the Old Town. This afternoon, choose from three Free-choice options: a Communist Walk of Prague, a Castle Tour, or a visit to the Terezin Memorial. The evening is yours to explore at your own pace.
Day 5 | Prague to Regensburg (B, D)
After breakfast, journey by coach to Regensburg where you’ll board your luxurious Scenic Space-Ship and set sail! Dinner will be included on the ship this evening.
Day 6 | Regensburg (B, L, D)
Regensburg is home to one of Germany’s best-preserved medieval town centres, featuring over 900 UNESCO World Heritage Romanesque and Gothic buildings. Its narrow lanes are also famed for hosting the country’s highest concentration of bars. Today, choose from Scenic Free-choice activities: a walking tour of Regensburg, a visit to Weltenburg Abbey, or the Thurn and Taxis Active Walking Tour.
Day 7 | Passau to Schlögen (B, L, D)
Set at the meeting point of the Danube, Inn, and Ilz rivers, Passau has been a vital trading hub since medieval times, famed for its salt or ‘white gold.’ Its Baroque Old Town boasts 13th-century Italianate architecture, narrow laneways, and an ‘Artist’s Mile’ of studios and galleries. Today you can choose from three Scenic Free-choice excursions: a Passau walking tour, a day in Salzburg, or a visit to Cesky Krumlov.
Day 8 | Melk to Dürnstein (B, L, D)
Dock in the picturesque town of Melk, Austria. Today you will have the choice to visit the stunning UNESCO-listed Melk Abbey, e-bike through the scenic Wachau Valley to Dürnstein, or visit historic Artstetten Castle. Later, enjoy free time in Dürnstein, known for its vineyards and the ruins of Richard the Lionheart’s castle. As you take in the breathtaking views, savour local treats like apricot dumplings and schnapps, specially arranged by your Cruise Director.
Day 9 | Vienna (B, L, D)
Wake up in Vienna, Austria’s imperial capital and City of Music, renowned for its Baroque architecture, vibrant coffeehouses, lush parks, and world-class galleries. Choose from Scenic Free-choice activities, including a visit to Schönbrunn Palace, a guided tour of Vienna’s historic center, a cycling trip to Danube Island, or a visit to the Belvedere Museum. Spend the afternoon at leisure. In the evening, enjoy an exclusive private classical concert at Palais Liechtenstein, featuring the timeless music of Strauss and Mozart.
Day 10 | Bratislava (B, L, D)
Bratislava, Slovakia’s capital, is a modern, multicultural city rich in history. Its Old Town boasts medieval and Gothic architecture. This morning, choose a Free-choice excursion: a walking tour to learn about the city and life under the Iron Curtain, or a wine-tasting tour through Slovakia’s emerging wine region.
Day 11 | Budapest (B, L, D)
Arrive in Budapest, a vibrant city divided by the Danube, with Buda on one side and Pest on the other. United in 1873, it boasts architectural styles from Gothic to Art Nouveau, along with renowned hot springs and thermal baths. Choose from Scenic Free-choice activities: a Budapest city tour, Jewish history exploration, a visit to Szentendre, or a guided hike up Buda Hill for stunning views of the city and river.
Day 12 | Budapest > Toronto (B)
After breakfast, transfer to the Budapest airport for our onward journey home from our Danube River Cruise tour. The flight home will return to Toronto where our coach will be waiting to return us to our original pickup locations.

Please note that this is an active tour. We suggest you are able to: Walk 3-4 km over the course of a day with no problem, can partake in a two-hour leisurely walking tour, covering up to 3km (with included breaks), handle a variety of terrains, from cobblestone streets to moderate hills with relative ease and without assistance and climb two flights of stairs with ease.
