Itinerary

Day 1 – September 8, 2026 | Depart Toronto

The time has come for our Irish Adventure! Board our coach at one of our pre-selected pickup locations this afternoon to Pearson International Airport. Here we will board our Air Transat overnight flight from Toronto to Dublin.

Day 2 – September 9, 2026 | Arrive in Dublin – Transfer to Newcastle (L, D)

We will be met on arrival at Dublin Airport by our knowledgeable and friendly local guide and driver. Our adventure begins with a stop at the historic Man O’War Pub, a 15th century public house, where we will have a light lunch as a group. We continue to our hotel where there will be time to relax and unwind before enjoying a group dinner at the hotel to kick off the trip and get to know our fellow travellers!

Day 3 – September 10, 2026 | Newcastle – Belfast (B)

This morning is a leisurely one at our hotel, enjoy a slow breakfast and take in the beautiful surroundings. We journey into St. Patrick’s Country to visit the grave of Ireland’s Patron Saint and the Saint Patrick Centre which tells his story. We continue to Rademon Estate, home to Northern Ireland’s Most Awarded Gin, for a tasting and tour of the distillery. On arrival in Belfast, we will undertake a panoramic tour of the city including political murals along the Fall and Shankhill Road. You may wish to check out the Cathedral Quarter of town, home to many great restaurants and friendly pubs.

Day 4 – September 11, 2026 | Belfast (B, D)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart for a visit to the Harland and Wolff Shipyard and the Titanic Experience where you will take a self guided tour of this top European attraction. Next, we visit Crumlin Road Gaol, the only remaining Victorian era prison in Northern Ireland. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure for you to further explore the city. Tonight, we will head out to Crawfordsburn where we will be treated to a traditional Ulster supper at the Old Inn.

Day 5 – September 12, 2026 | Coastal Route to Derry to Donegal (B, D)

After a hearty breakfast we’ll depart for our journey along the Causeway Coastal Route! Our first stop will be the charming village of Ballintoy to take in the picturesque harbour as seen in the Game of Thrones television series. Next, we’ll visit The Giant’s Causeway and learn about the Irish legends surrounding the iconic pillars. Our final stop today is the city of Derry where we will partake in a twilight walking tour of the famous Walls of Derry. Tonight, we will stay in lively Donegal Town. After dinner at the hotel, you can venture into the town’s Diamond and enjoy a pint at a few of the local pubs that are right on your doorstep.

Day 6 – September 13, 2026 | Donegal to Westport (B, L, D)

We begin our day with a visit the home of Donegal Tweed, Triona Design. Here you will enjoy an Irish Coffee while learning the history of the area, including a weaving demonstration on a 200-year-old Hand Loom. Afterwards we will continue our journey through the romantic domain of WB Yeats and a stop at the Sligo Oyster Experience where we will learn of the oyster farming process and enjoy a light lunch. Then it’s onward to Westport, our home for the evening. After dinner at the hotel, you may wish to visit the iconic Matt Molloy’s, an authentic Irish Pub that offers traditional music sessions nightly.

Day 7 – September 14, 2026 | Westport & Connemara (B)

This morning, we depart for Connemara, one of the most scenic regions in Ireland and an area that has strong association with Irish culture. While we are here, we will visit Kylemore Abbey, a monastery that was founded in 1920 during WW1 for Benedictine nuns that were fleeing Belgium. The remainder of the day and is at leisure in Westport.

Day 8 – September 15, 2026 | Galway and the Cliffs of Moher (B, D)

Today we head south to Galway for free time to explore Eyre Square, shop, and grab a bite. In Doolin, enjoy a scenic cruise along the Atlantic for a unique view of the Cliffs of Moher. Afterwards, join our guide Ollie for an exclusive Burren Foodie Experience—meeting local producers and tasting regional delights. Highlights include the Burren Smokehouse, Europe’s smallest craft brewery, The Cheese Press, a local whiskey tasting, and we’ll finish with the best fish and chips near the Doolin pier.

Day 9 – September 16, 2026 | Dublin (B)

This morning, we travel through Ireland’s Heartlands to Dublin, starting with a self-guided tour of the Guinness Storehouse, followed by a visit to the Pearse Lyons Distillery. This afternoon, we check into our centrally located hotel for our final two nights. Tonight is free to explore Dublin—be sure to check out the lively Temple Bar for live music and good craic (fun)!

Day 10 – September 17, 2026 | Dublin (B, D)

Today is our last day in Ireland and a free day to explore the ‘Fair City.’ During this time, you may wish to visit some of Dublin’s most famous attractions including Trinity College, Kilmainham Gaol, EPIC, the Old Jameson Distillery and Phoenix Park. Tonight, we will enjoy a farewell dinner and rousing Irish entertainment at Johnnie Fox’s Pub.

Day 11 – September 18, 2026 | Return Home (B)

Today we will depart for our flight home after an included breakfast at the hotel! Our motorcoach will transfer us to Dublin airport to board our flight to Toronto. Upon arrival in Toronto, our motor coach will be waiting to return us to our original pickup points and bid farewell!

Please note that this is an active tour. We suggest you are able to walk 4-5 km over the course of a day with no problem, partake in a two-hour leisurely walking tour (covering up to 3km), handle a variety of terrains, from cobblestone streets to moderate hills without assistance and climb two flights of stairs with ease.
