Meet our coach at one of our predetermined pickup locations today to be transferred to Toronto Pearson Airport. From here, we will board our overnight flight.
Day 2 | Amsterdam (D)
Our flight will arrive this morning. Your journey begins in picturesque Amsterdam, with its
charming canals, 17th-century architecture, and cozy cafés. This afternoon, board your 5-star Scenic Space-Ship, meet your fellow guests, and toast the start of your unforgettable adventure at the welcome reception.
Day 3 | Amsterdam (B, L, D)
Spend the morning exploring Amsterdam, a city of canals, cobblestone lanes, and centuries-old charm. Choose your preferred Scenic Freechoice included experience: cruise the historic waterways, join a guided walking tour with a chance to taste of a local delicacy, visit the immersive Fabrique des Lumières digital art exhibition, OR cycle through the Dutch countryside on an e-bike with a local guide.
Day 4 | Cologne, Germany (B, L, D)
Arrive in Cologne this afternoon. Join a walking tour of the Old Town to see its charming squares and the World Heritage-listed Cathedral, then enjoy free time to explore or experience the city’s nightlife before tonight’s late departure.
Day 5 | Koblenz, Germany (B, L, D)
Visit Koblenz, at the Rhine and Moselle confluence, rich in history and culture. Scenic Freechoice options: explore Koblenz’s old town and Florinsmarkt, visit medieval Limburg, or tour Cochem and Reichsburg Castle in the Moselle Valley. In the afternoon, relax on board as you cruise the fairytale-like Rhine Gorge.
Day 6 | Mannheim, Germany (B, L, D)
Arrive in Mannheim, a city known for its Baroque squares, fountains, and palace. Scenic Freechoice options: explore Heidelberg on an orientation or historical tour, including the Old Town and Heidelberg Castle, or visit Bad Dürkheim’s Fitz Ritter
Day 7 | Rastatt, Germany (B, L, D)
Wake in Rastatt, a Baroque town and the gateway to Baden-Baden, the historic spa town on the edge of the Black Forest. Scenic Freechoice options: take a walking tour of Baden-Baden’s Kurhaus and Roman baths, relax at Caracalla Spa’s thermal waters, or visit Schloss Favorite, the oldest intact German “porcelain palace.”
Day 8 | Kehl, Germany (B, L, D)
Dock in Kehl, just across from Strasbourg, the vibrant Alsace capital with colorful half-timbered houses and a lively mix of French and German culture. Day 9 | Basel, France to Montreux, Switzerland (B)
Start your journey in Basel, where you’ll depart across the Swiss Alps toward the picturesque lakeside resort town of Montreux. Stop at Chaplin’s World Museum to explore the home, studio, and park of Charlie Chaplin, learning about his life, artistry, and legacy amid beautiful Alpine scenery.
Day 10 | Montreux, Switzerland (B, L)
Spend the morning exploring Montreux at your leisure or relaxing at your hotel. This afternoon, take a panoramic train to Château-d’Oex for a private demonstration of traditional cheese-making and enjoy a classic Swiss fondue lunch at Restaurant Le Chalet.
Day 11 | Montreux to Bern (B, D)
Depart Montreux and ascend the Swiss Alps to Gstaad for a brief orientation tour and free time for lunch. Continue to Bern, the World Heritage-listed Swiss capital, for a guided tour of its medieval streets, fountains, sandstone buildings.
Day 12 | Bern to Lucerne to Zurich (B)
Travel to Lucerne and enjoy a guided tour of its medieval Altstadt, waterfront promenades, and colorful buildings. Then continue to Zurich for a walking tour of the flat, pedestrian-friendly city center, including historic bridges and the famous Bahnhofstrasse shopping street.
Day 13 | Zurich to Toronto (B)
Depart after breakfast for your onward journey, taking your memories of beautiful Switzerland with you. Upon arrival in Toronto, our coach will await to return us to our original pickup locations!
