Take me out to the ballgame!!!

Join us for an exciting long weekend getaway to Chicago, Illinois, where we’ll catch two Toronto Blue Jays games against the Chicago Cubs within the friendly confines of the legendary Wrigley Field—one of Major League Baseball’s most iconic stadiums, known for its ivy-covered walls, timeless charm, and unbeatable energy. In addition to baseball action, we’ll enjoy a behind the scenes tour of Wrigley Field plus a guided Chicago city tour, where you’ll see top sights like Millennium Park, Cloudgate, Buckingham Fountain, and the Magnificent Mile. Beyond touring, we have also included passes to Chicago Sports Museum and the Museum of Contemporary Art which you can visit on your own during free time. This package also includes comfortable accommodations, daily breakfast, one group dinner, transportation by motor coach, the services of a Cardinal Lakeshore Tour Director, and much more!

This is an active tour and will require mobility to walk to the ballpark from our hotel, maneuver the stairs in the stadiums and more. A valid Canadian passport is also required.

Day 1 | Thursday June 18, 2026 – Depart Home for Grand Rapids, Michigan

Today we will board the coach and depart from our pre-selected pickup points to make our way to Grand Rapids Michigan. Today is a travel day, so sit back and relax. There will be comfort stops along the way, including time for lunch (on own). Upon arrival in Grand Rapids this evening, we will check in to the Drury Inn Grand Rapids – and rest up for the evening.

Day 2 | Friday June 19, 2026 – Depart Home for Chicago, IL (B, D)

Today we will board the coach to make our way to vibrant Chicago, Illinois. There will again be comfort stops along the way, including time for lunch (on own). Upon arrival in Chicago this afternoon, we will check in to the Westin Michigan Avenue for the next three nights – only steps away from the Magnificent Mile with plenty of shopping and dining options. Tonight we will enjoy an included group dinner to kick off the weekend at a local favourite and only a short walk from our hotel.

Day 3 | Saturday June 20, 2026 – Chicago, IL (B)

Kickstart your day with an included breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast this morning, we will depart on a guided city tour of Chicago, taking in highlights such as Millennium Park, the Magnificent Mile, Buckingham Fountain, and the historic Gold Coast. We’ll return to the hotel by late morning, giving you time to freshen up before heading to Wrigley Field. This afternoon, we’ll enjoy our first Blue Jays vs. Cubs game at Wrigley Field with Lower Bowl Seats (game time TBD).

Day 4 | Sunday June 21, 2026 – Chicago, IL (B)

After breakfast, we’ll enjoy a Wrigley Field Stadium Tour to learn more about this historic field. Following our tour we’ll stick around the area, giving you time to grab lunch and take in the fantastic atmosphere around the neighbourhood before our second ballgame this afternoon (first pitch TBD), again with great lower bowl seats. Following our game this afternoon, we will head back to our hotel where the remainder of the evening will be at leisure to enjoy Chicago as you please!

Day 5 | Monday June 22, 2026 – Depart Chicago for Home (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, we will board the motor coach and begin our journey home. Rest stops will be made along the way, including time for lunch (on own) and duty-free shopping if applicable. We will return to our original pickup locations this evening, bidding farewell to new and old friends and taking home great memories of Chicago.
